Elizabeth Marín Aliaga, 2022
MATERIAL: Acrylic on Canvas
DIMENSIONS: 88 x 138 cm
In this sunset painting somewhere in the high rainforest (selva alta) around Pucallpa you see colors of the foliage and vegetation in line with the so-called Geva color technique. For me it is always special how my imagination can work together with the beautiful colors of nature. In this painting you see some kingfishers happily dancing and playing along the river while they are looking for food. Kingfishers are common in the Amazon where they find fish in abundance. They usually sit very still on a twig above the water and when they see a fish they can catch it very quickly. I'm always excited when I see them and it was my inspiration for this painting.
Paintings come with a description of the painting and symbols, and a bio of the painter.
