Ener Diaz, 2024

MATERIAL: Acrylic on Canvas

DIMENSIONS: 80 x 60 cm

This painting is a tribute to the beautiful and colorful fauna and flora of the Peruvian Amazon. Invaluable, although we are not always aware of it in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The macaw (guacamayo) often gathers in groups early in the morning at a place with sulphurous water that they drink from the 'colpa' (clay lick). They need the sulfur as a detoxifier of substances in certain types of fruit that they eat. The birds are loved by the indigenous population and also symbolize protectors of the skies in the cosmovision of the tribes.

Paintings come with a description of the painting and symbols, and a bio of the painter.
If you are able to buy and collect the painting in Westerlo, there is a €30 discount and you save the mailing/handling costs.
